The Marine Corps League proudly supports Scouting and the values of leadership, citizenship, service, and character that it encourages in young people across our communities. Our Eagle Scout recognition program is designed to honor Scouts who have earned Scouting’s highest rank and to recognize the dedication required to reach that milestone.
Each Eagle Scout recognized through this program is presented with a Good Citizenship Award Certificate from the Marine Corps League. Presentations are typically made in conjunction with a local troop’s Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony.
When possible, a representative of the Marine Corps League Department of West Virginia or a local detachment may attend the Court of Honor to help recognize the new Eagle Scout and present the certificate.
